Getting Started
How do I set up my clinic on Sampurna?
Go to sampurna.app/onboard, enter your clinic name, choose your clinic type (OPD, Therapy, or Hospital/Retreat), and pick a plan. The setup wizard then walks you through branding, schedule, and your first patient — in under 10 minutes.
Do I need to install any software?
No. Sampurna is fully cloud-based. It runs in any modern browser on desktop, tablet, or phone. Doctors and staff can log in from anywhere. Patients get their own mobile-friendly portal.
Can multiple doctors use one account?
Yes. Each plan includes a staff seat limit (1 on Free, 5 on GP, 15 on Care, 30 on Hospital). Every doctor and staff member gets their own login. Admins control what each person can see.
How do I invite my staff?
From Settings → Staff, click "Invite Staff". Enter their name, email, and role (Doctor, Therapist, Receptionist, Billing). They receive a magic-link email and set their own password. No IT help needed.

Is the Free plan really free forever?
Yes. The Free plan supports up to 300 patient records and includes full OPD case sheets, the 6-Pillar Nuskha prescription, billing, and the patient portal. No credit card required. No expiry date.
What happens if my patient count exceeds my plan limit?
We notify you when you reach 90% of your limit. You can upgrade at any time. We never lock you out or delete patient records — existing records are always accessible even if you choose not to upgrade.
Are there per-doctor charges?
No. Sampurna uses flat plan pricing. You pay one price for the plan, regardless of how many doctors use it — as long as they are within your staff seat limit.
Can I switch plans or cancel anytime?
Yes. Upgrade takes effect immediately. Downgrade and cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period. We offer a full refund within 7 days of purchase — see our Refund Policy.
What is the difference between monthly and annual billing?
Annual billing saves you ~15% compared to monthly — roughly equivalent to getting 2 months free. You are billed once for the full year. Monthly billing is charged month-to-month with no long-term commitment.
What is the Enterprise or White-Label plan?
Enterprise covers unlimited patients with custom SLAs and dedicated support. White-Label lets you run the full platform under your own brand name and domain — ideal for hospital chains and healthcare companies. Contact our sales team for pricing.
Clinical Features
What is the "6-Pillar Nuskha" prescription?
The Nuskha is our signature prescription format covering six pillars of holistic health: Medicines, Lifestyle advice, Diet plan, Yoga / exercise prescription, Lab requests, and Medical certificates — all from a single screen, exported as a branded PDF.
Does Sampurna support AYUSH systems (Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Naturopathy, Yoga)?
Yes. The platform supports all AYUSH disciplines alongside modern medicine. You can record Prakriti (constitutional type), Dosha assessment, Panchakarma protocols, and naturopathy diet charts. Case sheets are customizable per specialty.
Can I manage therapy sessions and packages?
Yes. The Care and Hospital plans include Therapy Rx (treatment and diet charts per session), session attendance logging, pain-scale tracking, and Therapy Packages for pre-paid bundles like a 10-day Panchakarma program.
How does the AI assistant (Vaidya Mitra) work?
Vaidya Mitra is built on Gemini + Groq. It provides prescription suggestions based on symptoms, flags drug-drug interactions, helps complete case notes via voice transcription, and answers patient FAQ via the patient portal. It is a clinical decision-support tool — not a replacement for clinical judgment.
Is there a drug database and interaction checker?
Yes. Sampurna includes a built-in medicine database with a drug-drug interaction checker. When you add medicines to a prescription, the system checks for interactions and allergy conflicts and flags them before you finalize.
Patient Experience
Do my patients get their own login?
Yes. Every patient gets a "Mera Swasthya" (My Health) portal where they can view their prescriptions, lab reports, bills, upcoming appointments, and medical certificates. Login is via OTP — no password to remember.
Can patients book appointments online?
Yes. Patients can self-book via your public booking page. You control which time slots are available. The system sends automated WhatsApp and email reminders before the appointment.
Is video consultation (teleconsult) available?
Yes, on GP, Care, and Hospital plans. Secure HD video consultations run through 100ms. Doctors can write prescriptions during the call and share them with the patient instantly.
Data, Security & Compliance
Where is my patient data stored?
Data is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL) with servers in the India region. All data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). We never store patient data on local devices.
Is Sampurna DPDPA-2023 compliant?
Yes. We implement patient consent management, right to erasure (deletion requests), 7-year clinical record retention per NMC guidelines, and a full audit log. See our Compliance Center for details.
Can I export or migrate my data?
Yes. You can export patient records, prescriptions, and billing data as PDF or CSV at any time. We do not lock you in — your data belongs to you.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your data is retained for 90 days after cancellation. You can export everything during this period. After 90 days, data is anonymised and purged per our retention policy.
Technical & Support
What browsers and devices does Sampurna support?
Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge on any desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone. Sampurna is also a Progressive Web App (PWA) — you can install it on your phone's home screen for a native app experience.
How do I get support?
Email support@sampurna.app. Active clinic accounts also have a WhatsApp support channel from their dashboard. Hospital plan accounts get priority support with a 4-hour response SLA.
